One of the main messages in Getting Over Charlie is that unconditional love can be found everywhere - not just from 'the one' like the movies would have you believe. I can't bear the thought of anyone feeling lonely, when friends, parents, siblings, pets, colleagues and even characters in books can give you that warm feeling inside.
